[the communicator clicks on. at first it seems like it might be accidental, judging by the quiet, unintelligible murmuring, but after a few seconds, Jack speaks, and it's obvious that he's already bored.]

...I suppose there is a bit of a resemblance. Monkey didn' wear ridiculous wigs, though, nor did 'e clap me in irons - more than once.

I still think the monkey would make better company, but if he's the closest you can get...

Also, I'll be needin' a crew of able-bodied man...or women, if you think yourself..able.
